Temperatures in the single digits have forced me to allow the pups into the RV.... but I have to admit they have been just precious and well behaved during the stay. I hope they don't get to used to it!

It has been a LONG frigid week with little to no progress due to the temps BUT it will be warming a bit today and things are finally thawing out. Of course the rain followed the warmer weather but in a way it is a blessing for finishing up the outside masonry work and siding final touches. The crews started on the inside drywall and painting Thursday and are showing up this morning after the freezing rain from last night thaws.

Side note~First on my to do when I move in? BUBBLE BATH!!!
We here in the valley were greeted at rush hour with a nice batch of freezing rain. I ended up parking my truck at the bottom of my hill and walking home due to an accident about 50 yards from my driveway. I have had to do this a few times in my years of living out here... it beats trying to get up the steep hill and ending up over the cliff lol. It took about 3 hours for the emergency crews to clear the mess and get the traffic flowing again. It was a party in my driveway! thankfully the sanding trucks got here or I think people would have started setting up tents in the pasture!
As soon as the sun comes up this morn I will don my boots and go get the truck. I am keeping good thoughts that no one hit my sweet ball of black metal.
